All about us
Hearts and Minds Childcare is based in a large property in rural Euxton. We are surrounded on three sides by farmland and we pride ourselves on providing quality childcare in a beautiful setting. Since opening our doors in 2011 Hearts and Minds has been fully committed to ensuring that every child who attends our setting is nurtured and encouraged to grow and develop into a strong unique character, ready for their school journey.
Our nursery building is spacious and airy and children are given the chance to free flow between rooms which have been set up and developed to meet the interests and needs of our children. Our staff are all qualified and trained to a high standard in order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care.
At Hearts and Minds, we provide children with the opportunity to be independent learners within an EYFS inspired curriculum. Children are provided with nutritious home cooked meals and snacks which allows them to make a range of healthy choices to encourage a balanced diet. Children are given regular access to our large garden, where they can develop physical skills and explore the world around them.
The setting is registered with Ofsted and follows strict legislative guidelines which support us in maintaining the highest standards. During our most recent inspection, we were judged as being OUTSTANDING in all areas!
At Hearts and Minds, the nursery manager is Laura Day. She works closely with our deputy manager Laura Johnson. They have both worked together for over ten years at Hearts and Minds and other settings along the way. They are highly qualified professionals, both holding degree level qualifications in Early Years Education. They are further supported by our Early Years Supervisor, Becca Rothwell and our two team leaders Rosie Preston and Sarah Frazer.
The management team at Hearts and Minds share the ethos that every child is a unique individual who grows and develops within a caring homely environment through the nurturing and guidance of extremely professional early years practitioners.
